Wednesday at the Masters

Gary Player wore white (!). Jack Nicklaus stuffed his tee shot on #6 to 5 feet and made birdie. Rickie threw Jordan’s ball into the water. All the kids were very cute. On hole #9 the caddies get to hit the tee shot. Not all hit though. I can’t get over how close Tony Finau stands to the ball. Most of the players hit their shots very high and with lots of spin. Their golf balls oftentimes spun off the green.
It’s cool to sit really close to a green or near a tee box. If I would have known, I’d would have set my chair down next to the green on #9. In general though, if you are several rows back and height challenged, you won’t see or hear much. Even though we got there early, all the front row seats were staked out.

It was sunny and warm and it seemed like the flowers got more beautiful as the day passed by.
